Understanding the purpose of Characters in the text

My Reflection

I have been learning to relate to the characters in the text to understand their purpose.  I used a Venn diagram to compare Ivan and Stella in the story The One and Only Ivan.  This made me realize the differences between the characters but also what made them similar.  My next step is to be able to use this information to make inference about the purpose of the characters.

 I found this easy because i learned about them last year so I know them.  My next step is to learn more different kinds of 3D shapes.

Solving Multiplication using Place Value

I A L T solve multiplication problems with a 2 digit number using place value.
I found this hard because i didn't  know if it was times or divided.  My next step is to learn more about solving multiplication using place value.

Character Description

My Reflection

W A L T write  a character  description using  adjectives .  I found this easy because I knew what to do.  I used my 5 senses to write 5 different sentences about my character.  My next step is to add more interesting adjectives.

Comparing Fairy Tales

My Reflection

I have been learning to identify common themes in fairy and fractured tales. We read 2 narratives "Red Riding Hood" and " Into The Forest" A common theme I made was they brought food in both stories to grandma.  I found this easy because we wrote ideas in our draft writing book.  My next step is to learn more about fairy and fractured tales.
